Where Black Bear Ventures is specifically requested by you or your administrators and/or delegates to release information in our possession to third parties for the purposes of acquiring ancillary services on your behalf, Black Bear Ventures assumes no responsibility for the use of your information by said third parties. Black Bear Ventures does not retain or store client credit card information. Black Bear Ventures does not take responsibility for retaining, storing or otherwise archiving your personal and/or business website and email account logon details such as usernames, passwords and other details necessary to administer your web-related matters with third party suppliers like Web Hosting Companies; Internet Service Providers; Email Service Providers; and Domain Name Registrars. This means that once Black Bear Ventures has, by request, initially set up and/or administered your accounts and conveyed relevant usernames and passwords to you, such information is no longer retained by Black Bear Ventures unless you have made specific business arrangements with Black Bear Ventures to monitor and manage your username, password, domain name and/or hosting account information on an ongoing basis. In cases of periodic requests to Black Bear Ventures to carry out tasks or maintenance on your behalf which may require username and password logons, you should be prepared to supply Black Bear Ventures with your username and password information on a task by task basis unless you have formally engaged Black Bear Ventures to monitor and manage your username, password, domain name and/or hosting account information on a continuing basis. Black Bear Ventures takes all reasonable measures and precautions to safeguard and protect from loss, misuse or alteration any personal information that has been released to us by our clients. Black Bear Ventures also takes all reasonable precautions to safeguard and protect from intrusion, our online appliances along with the contained digital data by conducting regular system and anti-intrusion maintenance on applicable equipment and software. While Black Bear Ventures makes reasonable efforts to back up data, Black Bear Ventures is not responsible for the destruction of client information and any logon details owing to equipment failure or corruption of digital media and/or records.
